This is a very good phone. Great Display, Camera, and Call Quality. Small compact phone the rubber that surrounds the phone makes it feel sturdy, If you are looking for just a basic camera phone with some cool option this is it. It lets you add fun frames after the pic is taken, also you can crop and rotate pictures and add graphics to pictures on the phone which is cool. I have been testing this phone for about a week now and I have not dropped a single call. I have better reception with this phone then I do with my LG8100.

Two Thumbs Up

Just curious, is the user interface the standard Moto one, or the dreaded red VZW user interface.

the dreaded red one. I saw pictures of Verizon's V325 on Howard Forums and it had the red bars. The good news is you'll likely be able to change them to blue like the LG VX5200, but nothing's for sure yet. Notice it lacks the center menu key, so likely US Cellular and Alltel will get the version with the new Motorola software, and Verizon will use the standardized interface.

Since you've been testing this phone, I'm wondering if you could answer a few questions abou it:

1) Does the speakerphone operate with the flip closed (like the E815)?

2) Is the voicedial and voice commands functionality updated like the E815? Or, is it streamlined and outdated like the V265 (requiring an extra step to call, i.e., "name dial," "call John.")?

3) How is the earpiece volume?

4) How is the ringer (external speaker) volume?

Really appreciate any info you can provide.

Would you say the reception is equal to that of the v265/v276?

Does the date show up on any of the displays w/ out having to go through the menu?!?!

I was in radio shack today and the guy working said the phone should be out next week?!?! Just what I was told.
