I understand that some cell phones have stub antennas and some have the stub/extendable antennas, but do the extendable ones make much difference? How much of a signal boost can you get when you extend it?

The extended antenna has help me out.

It really depends on your location , carrier, and equipment.

I always get EXTRA BOOST when extended.
