looks like my house phone

wow this phone is ugly. it really does look like a house phone,...one of the many reasons i will never switch to nextel, happy with cingulars SMALL phones 😛

And their variety of phones. With Nextel it's either a Motorola or a Blackberry.

You don't have much of a selection with nextel, but I have never heard any complaints about their phones. God knows there LOUD enough.

Yeah, they are loud, loud and distorted. At least from my personal experience. Loud and clear is more to my liking.

i would have to agree it is extremely original and unique (which A-LOT of people are going to perceive as ugly) but i would have to say (in Moto's and Nextel's defense - both of who i don't usually stand up for) that according to my uderstanding and awareness of Nextel's available phones (which i don't know mush about - any one who knows more please help me out)

Well contrary to mainstream cell users who like their small dinky phones, Nextel do provide phones within the constraints of their fundemental design.

As a long time user I admit that I have watched with envy the ever smaller phones the rest of the world are getting.

Nextel are always 2 steps back.

HOWEVER... those that compare the Nextel phones with a CellPhone from say Cingular etc. are missing the point just as Sprint and Verizon did when they tried to launch competing products. Nextels are radios with cellphones attached. Don't need radio, buy a cellphone, need a radio as we do in our business.. Nextel is the man ! beep beep

The 275 is small enough to fit in my pocket without making me look obscene, vibrate still not up to...
