not suprised. 6820 was pulled by cingular b/c it wasn't selling, maybe they're trying tmobile this time. Real shame they pulled it too. now everyone wants this "American idol" LGf9100 with keyboard, and i would much rather sell them a 6820 or a 66822

What!? The 9100 is selling well? I thought that phone sucked. All glory to the power of marketing I guess.

I'm sorry to hear there will be no 850 ver. I was interested in this phone. I'm kind of dissatisfied with my A630 but I don't want to give up the keyboard. I would have got a 6820 long ago if it weren't for the screen. With an improved one, this phone was worth looking in to. Ah well.

Then the next part of the msg, which is always only one line long, will display below the first msg. Then the rest of the msg will be in a third txt that's above the first msg.

I had just gotten used to that quirk, until right now I was in the middle of a txt conversation and I received maybe 8 or 9 msgs out of order. What a pain to figure out what order they should be in and make sense of it all!

Then there's the phone book. It's awkward to use. Either I have to see duplicate names for each number, or I can only display the primary contact but then I can't cal...

If it's anything like the V series phones, you can "merge" your contacts with the phone memory and sim. Only annoying thing there is then you've got everything doubled in your phonebook, so it's a double edged sword.

Ok I feel silly replying to my own question, but it seems redundant to start a new thread on the same topic.

Anyway, I knew I wasn't imagining it. Nokia will have an 850 MHz version. Here's the link from NokiaUSA's website:

Right there at the bottom:

There will be an 850 MHz version, but it will not see wide distribution, at least in the U.S.

It may see distribution in Canada, or through very limited channels in the U.S.
