Pantech PN-215 / CDM-8915 / Snapper / PN-300

From the bits I have been reading, Pantech shipped the Pantech pn-215 directly to Verizon stores and not going through UTStarcom. For some reason is there some problem between Verizon and Pantech due to this? I bought the Pantech PN 215 from a Verizon dealer and now the extras don't seem to work. I also don't seem to be able to find it listed on the Verizon website, apparently they do not offer it according to the website. Customer service was wishy-washy about the phone, not even seeming to know if Verizon stores are supposed to offer this phone (this was back in December, and I still can't get a straight answer between the Verizon store and Verizon Customer Care itself. Does anybody else have similar problems?
