Video quality and possible season for price drop??? (and phone upgrade too)

I was wondering about the video quality for this phone...
I heard it's 170 something pixel resolution with 10 FPS. Is that TRUE?
I hope not!! I mean, if that's a case, I wouldn't buy this phone. âšī¸
And does anybody has any idea of price drop?
Do you guys think the price will be drop for little bit, for somehow, in Christmas season? (that's what I'm hoping for.)

I'm using another phone in Verizon and I've used it for about a year and a month.(I had 2 year contact whenever I was buying my phone) If I want to change my phone to A970 now, how much do I have to pay? $399? $350?? PLZ somebody help me out, hopefully. đ

If you are thinking about buying this phone for the camcorder (that was my thought) don't do it. I don't need another "HAd da fone for an hour andi ready HATe it!" (chump you know who you are) floating around the forums.
And unless you can get Verizon customer care to flag you for an upgrade, you will be paying MSRP of 469.99. I paid $500 2 months ago, but I still love my phone. It needs an e815 sitting next to it, so I'll get that one soon.

I never complained about the camcorder.....my original gripes are with the design,the lack of case,and the battery power management....and those complaints have been amplified by several other people....the camcorder function is actually quite nice...nice enough that I'm actually starting to like the phone becuase of the camcorder/camera functions...and am willing to overlook(get used to) its design parameters...
