i hope its for sprint. why does sprint discontinue all there good phones so fast? i thought the mm-7400 came out less than a year ago? and i thought the vm-4500 was a good phone. sprint needs a phone like this. i dont like samsung, so the only phone worth buying right now is the sanyo mm-8300.

It does say that it is carrier dependent and it also says that it supports JAVA. It may come for both Sprint and Verizon. All Nokia phones that come to both carriers mentione BREW in the specs so I say it's up in the air and can come for either or both. I hope it comes to Sprint cause it's a nice phone.

well, let's see...

this phone does have BREW, which i've heard sprint doesn't use...

BUT it also has Java, which i've heard is what sprint uses instead of BREW...

but comparing the data sheets on the new phones for each carrier, is see AMPS 850 on more new sprint phones than i do on new vzw phones... 'course, that doesn't say much, but there it is

You also have to consider the fact that nokia has had more handsets with sprint than have with verizon. It is more likely that sprint will be the carrier of this phone.

Here's another tip-off as to phone carrier.... the info page says that BREW is carrier dependent. Usually when a handset is headed directly to verizon, there will be specific BREW specifications on the page.

I would say it will come out for U.S Cellular. Its says the are the ones who are testing it. It will be a good fit in between the high end 6255I and the 6235I quite well. Now just have to wait till one out of 3 of these phones come out. I am really Excited about the 6265!!
