cingular's first phone with PTT

i already saw the launch materials for this phone, and though i am an LG hater, i must say it looks pretty cool.

i have no idea how PTT pricing will be, nor any other handsets with PTT,

i'm not sure, but as Rich points out in another comment on this strand, there are different types of PTT (and u almost have to investigate to find out). I don't know anything other than this LG will be cingular's first PTT phone (tenatively, of course)

what about the motorola slvr L7 it has ptt...and im sure it's destined for cingular?

The L7's PTT is the PoC type. Cingular is using Kodiak's RTX technology, which is very different and not directly compatible with PoC.

No.

It may be possible in the future; people are already talking about ways to do that. But honestly I see it being pretty far off. The technological hurdles are pretty substantial.
