Vibrate Mode

Despite reading my manual and intuitively attempting to find how to get this phone to vibrate, I cannot. Nothing in the manual tells me how and the ring selections in the phone do not offer vibrate. Does anyone know how to select the vibrate mode?

Flip it open, push the volume-up side button until it sets itself to vibrate.
