I am a huge fan of LG phones, but why are their phones they make for Sprint so boring?

I agree. The phone looks almost identical to a Samsung circa-2001.

OK, I was expecting some turmoil. But LG doesn't tend to make the top-of-the-line phones for Sprint like they do for Verizon. Agreed the 535 is nice, but just wait for the VX8100. NICE.

535 is equal to the 7400, which is pretty damn sweet, and oh yeah, let's wait for the VX8100...SO IT CAN BE LOCKED TO ALL HELL!

Actually the 535 is comparable to the Sanyo 5600 (MP3 player, miniSD)... It is $50 less than the Sanyo but does not come with 16mb card and no USB cable...

I can't wait until Verizon cripples the MiniSD card capabilities on the VX8100 which forces people to subscibe to Get It Now and PIX Place in order to get features that Sprint customers have for free. Wanna put movies or pictures on your VX8100's miniSD card? Don't bother! They won't work!!! SUPER NICE!

This phone is not meant to be anything comparable to Verizon's high-end LG offerings. It's a mid-range handset in competition with the likes of the Sanyo VI-2300. If you want to see a high-end LG phone, look up the MM-535 and go through the Phonescoop News archives to find info on the LX-545.
