I've heard many people say they enjoy the instant messanging on this phone, but do you have to pay an extra monthly fee?(a certain dollar amount for a certan amount of im's?) or do you pay for it through the internet time?
also, what extra features trhought verizon and accesories are a must have with this phone?

Every message you send and recieve costs .10 cents. And if you want internet browsing than it would be a good idea to get vcast for $15 a month so you would have browsing without costing airtime.

if you have a text package, then it comes out of your messages...if not it is .10 to send and .10 to recieve as phillyz has noted. And yes it does come out of your airtime as well...unless you have the vcast vpak which is on promotion...free for the first month then $15 a month after that....
