Reminders for Calendar Events........
Anyone (other than me) have trouble with them not working all the time? I'll reboot the phone and things will seem OK - but I'm basically using this as my only reminder - this puppy doesn't ring - I'll probably miss an appointment at some point.

No, I set my scheduler reminders all the time and it never fails to remind me of anything. Maybe your not setting or saving your events the right way or something? And our 9800 is just called the V.

Took the phone in to Verizon because I was having trouble holding an EVDO signal (we're in a good EVDO area). They tried to upgrade the software from Version 2 to Verson 5 - but there was a problem with the phone - so I got a new one.
I had 2 events set for yesterday (both recurring) one reminder went off - the other didn't. . . .

I was wondering if you ever got this problem solved. I'm having the exact same problem where calendar event reminders on my vx9800 fail randomly. When I set up calendar events (both one-time or repeating), the reminder will sometimes come up and sometimes not. And once a repeating events stops coming up, it never comes up ever again.
