Stupid questions about the VX9800

I'm thinking hard about getting one of these. I like the big landscape mode screen, the keyboard, Bluetooth, Mobile Web, stereo speakers, playing mpeg4 video from the miniSD card, etc. Yes, I know it's not a PDA. It's more of an "entertainment phone" (and I wrinkle my nose when I say that...) But that's OK, I never fully utilized the PDAs I've had. I mostly use the address book, type in the occasional quick note, and play a few games.

Anyway, here come the stupid questions:

Is there a stereo headphone jack? And along the same lines, is there capability for stereo BT headphones? Is such a thing even possible? How about otherwise using a non-crappy stereo headset for both mp3s and phone?

Has anyone gotten an idea of what listen...

I don't have the phone yet (12/23 is my NE2 date) but I have played with the phone enough to know this:

My ISP uses Squirrelmail and I cannot access it from Mobile Web 2.0 . Go to Yahoo EMail and check out how you can check other POP email accounts. This Yahoo function is enabled on the Mobile Web 2.0 so you can do it. It downloads your Squirrelmail inbox to the Yahoo Inbox each time you check mail so it doubles in size each time. Keep your Squirrelmail webmail inbox clean and it won't build too quickly. I empty my Yahoo Inbox frequently also.

Ugh. ☹️ Any ideas about why this is? If you flat-out "cannot access it", then that sounds like lack of cookie support to me.

Which has me wondering again... Is Mobile Web 2.0 just WAP with extra cheese (marketing), or does this phone have an actual web browser for browsing actual web sites?

Hey Verizon: If I'm going to spend $300+ for a phone with a huge screen and extra money every month for "web access", I expect a "web experience" that's substantially better than my VX4500. I should not be limited to a tiny fraction of the Internet. (Read: If I can do my Squirrelmail and browse a few decent tech/news sites, I'll ...

yea you can get it at the verizon website with $100 taken off upfront, plus you dont have to pay them a stupid $20 processing fee as you would in a store when buying the phone.

That kinda sucks for me....Vcast costs like $15/month and I am running on a $20 "allowance" (being 14)....And I want to get Unlimited In messages plus 500 additional messages for $15...Any ideas for someone running on $20 a month besides getting a job (I'm working on that by the way)?

The only reason I want vcast is so I'm not charged everytime I go on the web with this phone. Otherwise it would count as airtime minutes.
