I JUST MOVED HERE TO SAN DIEGO, (IMPERIAL BEACH) AND I DON'T GET GOOD RECEPTION AT ALL. VERIZON SAID I WAS TOO CLOSE TO THE WATER AND I MAY NEED TO GET A DIFFERENT TYPE OF PHONE. I NEED ONE THAT HAS EXCELLENT RECEPTION SINCE MY CONDO IS SOOO NEAR THE BEACH. DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Motorolas are generally known to have better reception than LGs. The Moto E815 is a great phone, It has better service than the 8100 n 9800 for sure.

motorolas are not as tough as lg if you are hard on your phones or just a clumsy fool like me lgs are very tough on the other hand motos are not they are more frail and breakable and the software in the motos is not even close to
the software in the lgs less hassle believe me ive owned both and learned the hard way. if you like a phone that works no hassles lg is your phone!! 😁

MY PERSONAL OPINION: Start with the 8100...if you don't get good reception go to the next (I would suggest 9800 if you are ok with the price).

If you are looking for quality instead of which phone is cheaper, go ahead and buy the 8100 or the 9800.

The 8100 is a good replacement of the moto, while the 9800 is one of the best phones is that price range that you can get.

It will all come down to one question, "How much money am I willing to spend?"
