Error copying files from PC to SD card
I have loaded the SD card into my computer, it is able to format the card but will not accept copying a file to the card. My computer says, "cannot copy the device is not ready." I can transfer files from the phone to the SD card, so I know that the card is working fine. My computer will allow me to add a new folder to the SD card, but not accept copying ANY file to the card. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

I bought a song from rhapsody in mp3 format. sent it to the "my mp3" folder and it said unknown user. Maybe I did not set up something.....

You said you added a folder? Are you trying to put stuff in this folder you added? Because you can only put stuff in the folders that the phone has ie: MY_MP3's, MY_PIX, MY_FLIX, etc.

Um, i did as Sata2k had shared to get my ringtones going on. He said we needed to put a folder on that mini sd named ringers. To there i was to transfer the ringtones. Then hook up Bitpim and dload. Look up Sata2k he will better advise. I followed his advice and now im in free ringtone heaven.

I said that to say that adding folders may be required to get the files ported to the phone. On my application adding a folder helped.
