LG V VX-9800
I have issues with this phone, need sum help.
(1) In my old LG (VX6100) i could record music with the voice memo tool and set it as a ring tone...i have not found a way to do this with the 9800. Is there a way?
(2) In the 6100 i could take pictures and it would ask me if i wanted them to 'fit to screen' so it would fill the whole screen, i have not found a way to do this with the 9800. Is there a way?
(3) Extural Screen stays on while charging..anyway to turn it off?
(4) I have ordered a mini SD card but it has not come yet, when i load mp3's on it, can they be set as ringtones? or am i forced to be ripped off $2.99 for each one from verizon.
(5)I know this is a new phone, but the game selection is very small. only 3-4 in each catagory at most. Is there anyother other way to...

This has been discussed a million and 2 times...the only way to get your own ringtones is to use bitpim.

And you can't get games for it any other way but GIN. They add more from time to time, so keep checking back on your phone for more to come.

Still trying to learn more about the 9800 but if you do get the answers to your questions, please post the answers, this forum has helped me with learning about the phone.

4. Sorry theres a special chip on the new phones that dont allow you to set your sounds as ringtones. Yeah i was bummed to.
5.Give it some time. It takes Verizon a while to expand the selection for application through GIN. No other way to get games. Sorry
Its an awesome phone besides these issues. Ive learned to live with it. I figure ill get the next big phone anyway.
