I have questions that the sales people just don't answer about the LG Vx9800 phone. If yu know one send a reply. Anything. It would be greatly appriciated. Whenever I talk to someone at Verizon they never know what I am talking about.

1.) They say there is a UBS port but whenever I look at it in the store looking at it or online I don't see the ubs port or atleast the one I am familair with. Is it the place above the mini SD card slot? Because that looks a lot like a head phone jack.

2.) If I have the cable (which is about $30.00?) can I transfer music to my phone from the computer like a regular MP3 player? My laptop doesnt seem to have a mini sd slot in it. And I would never pay to download music.

3.) It says online that the it do...

1. If you mean the charging port where you would put a data cable and then plug into a USB port, it is on the bottom of the phone and you don't see it in pics because it has a rubber stopper in it which is the same color as the phone.

2. You don't need a cable to get MP3's, but you DO need a MiniSD card and card reader to put them on because you can't put them on the phone's memory, only on the card.

3. No it does not come with a card. You can take and save pics/videos to the phone itself that are taken with the phone.

4. Web is unlimited with VCAST package, but not sure about the AIM. You may want to check on that because is far as I know those are charged as text, but I'm not certain on that one.

Here is the story regarding the web surfing.

Vcast is setup to allow you unlimited text (in network), unlimited web and unlimited streaming video from the Verizon server.

I was told that the unlimited web is only to specific sites that are assigned by Verizon where as just paying for the unlimited web allows you to go to any site that can be viewed with the phones browser.

Vcast is $15.00 per month where unlimited text is $5.99 and the unlimited web is $4.99 a month.

Something to think about when you make your choice.

...yeah but when you surf the net at the $5 a month price, you are billed for airtime....with the $15 a month it is airtime free.

Do what I did, try out the free Vcast for a month promo which also includes free unlimited mobile web and see if using mobile web is right for you...this way you are not charged a dime nor will you waste your airtime mins.

You have a good point there.

I don't use it much during the week since I am at a computer most of the day but on the weekends I use it often espescially now that this phones browser kicks A**!

One thing about the free month... you have to make sure you cancel it. They set you up at the store even if you don't ask (in my case, not that I'm arguing), but charge you unless you call and actually cancel it.
