Ok, I go to school in a very small town, less than 45K people...the closest store which carries this phone is 100 miles away (no joke)....so basically if I choose to get this phone (via mail order), it will be sight unseen.

Most of my questions have been answered already from this and other sites, thank you very much for all of your input....I do still have some further questions....

If I want to connect the 9800 up to my computer. My computer doesn't have BT, but I can purchase a dongle to take care of that....What I would like to know is what is the best way to connect; via a BlueTooth interface or via a USB cable? If the USB cable is used, which one would I get (once again I have to mail order all of this stuff).

Ok about the BT I would use the cable to transfer files( it is cheaper, and more secure) There are alot of cables out there so just look on ebay or google search it. The SD card is different. You can not use a standard SD card it must be mini SD (says it on the card, plus it's mini) you can get this on ebay or at best buy, circuit city, walmart whatever is your choice. You should pay around $40 for 512. Look for the package that has a cell phone picture. Well hope this helps.

For the mini SD... when I get it, can I just hook a USB up to the phone and load things onto the card or do I need something special for my computer to load songs onto the card?

Also as a side note, I didn't see anyone mention that the inside flips totally up. It isn't only the 3 qtr flip all the pics show. It can flip flat which is actually a lot nicer I think personally.

You need a card reader (they are for regular size cards, but most mini sd cards come with the adapter to put it into the reader). As far as your earlie question as far as connecting with either BT or cable, I personally connect via BT and it is very easy and nice to be totally "wireless".
