exactly, this phone is directed to older people who need a VERY simple phone, but don't want the 4920 (which is built better) or to those buying their children a phone that they can keep in contact with their parents with, but don't want to spend any money on features like vision or the phone itself. Or somebody who isn't willing to spend the extra couple bucks and get the 8200 (which may drop in price in the next few weeks) or the samsung 740 or lg 325, or find an 8100 lying around somewhere.

Overall impressions of this phone: it feels very cheap and weak, as if one small drop onto a kitchen counter would shatter the phone. the tiny screen may be too small for elderly eyes to read, but I haven't heard any complaints just yet. The optional colors add a bit of style to this disappointing phone, and would be perfect for that pre-teen or teen female that wants a pink phone. Razz Sanyo quality has always been exceedingly well (save the hinge issues) but this phone seems sub-par.
As for me, I would save up the extra couple bucks and get a better phone (even if it were for the above mentioned demographics.)
