Really I believe Sanyo was just trying to do what Samsung has already done. When you think of Sanyo phones they pretty high, I own a Sanyo 5600 right now. I have owned a 5500, 8200, 7400. None of them were cheap phones at all, well you get some customers that want Sanyo but they can't afford to put out $100, $200 or more dollars. Everyone likes Sanyo, cause Sanyo is great. But they don't want to discourage they people who can't afford the gadget phones, they want everyone to be able to get a sanyo.
