Ok, I'm thinking about ordering this phone to replace my piece of crap motorola v600 and the mini digital camera I broke last week, but I wanted to ask some questions before I took the dive and blew $400.

When transferring MP3s to the phone can you just drag and drop on the memory stick or do you have to use some Sony proprietary software? If you do have to use software does it mess with your MP3s at all, like re-encode the files or add some sort of Sony copy protection, or does it just straight transfer?

Does anyone have any information on the shutter speed of the camera? I've read a lot of reviews and looked at a lot of pics but Im still worried that it's not going to be fast enough to capture candid shots. I figure Ill probably end ...

You could drag and drop the mp3's to the memory stick. I have T-Mobile so i really dont kno about cingular. There is autofocus and that takes about a sec to work and another sec for shutter speed. If u are going to take really fast pics then u might be able to shut off the auto focus. I never tried it. I really like the auto focus. In fact everyone i know of are impressed by the pics my k750i takes. Their expression is something like this 😲 . But the flash is worth it if u r going to take pics a lot at night. I dont need it. The led is good enough. By the way when u turn on the LED it acts like a flash. Just want to let u kno. Not a really good one but about 10ft or less the pics are good at night.

Thanks, well the MP3 aspect is a go and I guess I should just go with the camera since it's sole purpose will pretty much be to take pictures of drunk friends, hence the flash, which Ill wait to buy until Ive tried the on camera light.

Even with T-Mobile did you try/have to set up MMS or GPRS?

yes, u have to setup up gprs and mms with every unbraded-unlocked phone. It is easy for SE. Just go on the SE website and select ur carrier and put ur phone #. They will send u the settings. That is what i did.
