Is there a difference...?

One's black and one's white/orange is all I can tell.

Anybody know how I can get my hands on one?

thanks.

Nothing much but the w800 is little better for mp3 since it has the Sony Walkman sign. U could turn off the fone and just hear mp3 like a mp3 player and some more stuff. If u love ur mp3 then this is the fone to get. I heard that the k750i has a beter camera though. Not sure about that.

I went to the offical sony ericsson site to see what the difference is. All of the specs are the same. The only difference from what i can see is that w800i has been marketed for music/phone lovers and the k750i is being pushed toward those who are looking for a digicam/phone. Also the colors show how one looks more like a fun mp3 player and the other is a serious camera. Thats just how i see it.

for some reason, I saw on a website called gsmphones or something that the K750 is like $100 cheaper than the W800?

I figured there had to be a difference besides the look. hrm.

Yes, there is a difference. W800i is compaared to a ipod. The reason being it is part walkman. Plus later on this next month SE is goin to realease wireless bluetooth headphones for the w800i which is goin to rock mp3 lovers.

thats the same for the K750i. I'm in the UK and have a K750i and have seen wireless headsets that work both for calls and MP3 with both phones not just the W800i.

Oh yeah and I think the sound from the K750i is great btw. i know its not really an ipod which i havnt heard but i have an MP3,WMA CD player from iRiver which you american ppl should be familier with and the sound in my mind is VERY comparable. thats the iRiver IMP550 btw. I can say the same for most other players iv heard aswell. no problems with it at all. the sound is great.

oh yeah about the camera being better i dont know as i havnt seen the W800i but the camera is great. pics are great quality and comparable to some stand alone digicams. plenty of effects and options to...

If you look in the internet, the acutal hardware itself is the same. Firmware is different though. The k750 has a different media player. The w800 uses the walkman player. People have converted their k750 to a w800. Technical mumbo jumbo aside, you cannot use the usb cable that comes with the phone.. Not yet anyway. You have to get a different cable.
