Problem with the camera, etc...

How's everyone doing. I just purchased the SE K750i just yesterday fom a previous owner. The housing and keypad was changed fom the factory black to silver. I noticed that the camera would not take a picture when pressing the button, or that sometimes it will go back to the stand-by screen. I only had the white screen occurence once, but noticed that there were some glitches when I do the same thing. All this happened at different times. Perhaps something was damaged when the previous owner was changing the housins, but there is bend on the side where the camera button.

I am thinking about going to a local cell phone repair shop to see if the firmware needs to be upgraded and/or if there are any parts to be replaced. I understand...

The phone comes in two 'housing', silver and black. i.e. Sony Ericsson sells the phone in two colors. So I doubt the previous owner changed the housing by himself.

Maybe the previous owner broke the phone somehow? Did you ask him at all or checked the phone before you bought it?

Sorry if I wasn't specific. The housing was an aftermarket part that's colored orchid white (the housing becomes somewhat translucent when the keypad is on) w/ silver keypad.

Everything checked out good when I first inspected it. Also, I would have expected someting was a little bit strange because he was selling it a bit cheaper than what this phone originally goes for.

More than likely the owner did damage the phone while changing the housing. Since I live in the US (Washington State), I called the Sony Ericsson main service center in Florida to see if they can fix it and they said they couldn't because it's a European model. And I was fine by that. So I had a couple of choices. Either 1)take it to someone here ...
