☚ī¸ It's not likely to be on Cingular since its a 900 and not 850 band phone. Also I do believe that Cingalar has an agreement that the will only sell Nokia candybar phones and not SE candybars. Thats why I switched to T-mobile and got a SE K700i for free. Next year when the K750 is down to $250 I'll buy it.

Very true...I forget to check the details out...I wish Cingular wouldn't sign that agreement with Nokia because S.E. has a lot of great bar phones I would like to get my hands on.

Yeah, me too! I have no idea why a company would sign a contract to only sell bar phones from one manufacturer...My only guess is that there has to be some big money in it for Cingular.

Even if though Cingular signed it I highly doubt its anything permanent, it'd be too risky. And even if they didnt the K750 still wouldnt reach Cingular because the lack of 850 band đŸ˜ŗ

I think it is misleading to suggest that Cingular has agreed with Nokia to sell no other brand of candybar style phones.

How about the candybar style phones made by LG, Siemens, and Sony Ericsson that Cingular sells?

I do agree that the narrowed selection of 850 1800 1900 phones available in North America is frustrating to us cellularized yanks.

I think ur right. Cingular does sell other candy bar phones but NO Sony Ericsson phones. The sad thing is there is only two SE phone being sold-- the S700 and the Z500. T-mobile does not have any SE phones in thier current lineup. There are tons of wonderful SE phones like K700, Z600, K500 and Z800 that were never carried by US carriers. I wonder if Sony Ericsson has given up trying to compete in US market.

The K750 is only going to be for sale in the US through third party retailers and the W800 will be sold through the SE website. T-Mobile will not be carrying this phone most likely and Cingular definitely wont be.

Actually, it looks like T-Mobile will be carrying a T-Mobile branded version of this phone. See link below...
