Samsung SGH-E730

Software Problem

I just bought this phone, and while I love it, I can not get it to communicate with my computer for the life of me. I installed the driver and PIM program, but whenever I load the program, this error always pops up:

"Cannot open the port and this program is switched in offline mode. After, try to switch online."

Does anybody know how to make this program work? Thanks.
