As with any Samsung that is CDMA or GSM, they sadly will use proprietary headphone jack. But hey, with bluetooth, who needs a Samsung earpiece huh? And once again very sadly no expandable memory. But with nearly 100 MB you should get no less then 15 "average" MP3 songs on your phone.

Did you ever try using anything BUT a Samsung headset?

Actually I have seen Samsungs in the US with standard jacks, the X475 has one and even with the non-standard jack if you look around you can find a converter that will allow you to use a standard headset with the samsung jack...it's what I use with my E315.

The X475 doesn't have a standard jack. It will hold a 2.5 mm headset plug, but it won't work properly unless you have an adaptor. It will produce an annoying humming sound unless you have a headset.

The last sentence was supposed to say "It will produce an annoying humming sound unless you have a headset adaptor.

Sorry! 🤭

That's interesting, I didn't know that, it's advertised as having a 2.5 mm jack, kinda cheating to put it that way and then have it not function properly.

Nope. Samsung's newer GSM phones like this have a weird headset jack that accommodates their new speakerphone accessory.

No memory card slot on this one, either.
