Samsung indicated today this phone will be released by Cingular Wireless before the end of the summer. When asked if this phone was meant for T Mobile, said Samsung trainer said T Mobile USAs version will be the 620. Sorry T Mobile homers.

Well you and that Samsung rep ar WRONG! If it does come out, it will be for T-Mobile. This phone has 900MHz on it, which Cingular can't use. It would have to have 850MHz on it in order for Cingular to sell it. They have 1900MHz, but its not that big as their 850MHz network. Sorry to burst your "Ahem" moment into thinking you were right.

Dont you know Terry? Everyone on here knows everything.. Just most of them dont know the truth! 🤣

This phone, if its going to be for ANY carrier, like Terry said, its going to be T-Mobile because Cingular will not carry a phone that lacks the 850mhz band.

And, I still have people on my back, proclaiming that Cingular will carry this phone, and arguing about the cell phone frequency bands.

Terry, please stop. Everyone realizes how much you love T Mobile USA. But you have absolutely zero credibility. Your lack of "knowledge" has you all over the formus claiming, and actually begging for things to be on T Mobile. All the way back to the V 635 for Motorola. T Mobile is the smallest carrier in the US (pending Nextel-Sprint merger) and has the smallest portfolio of phones for a very good reason. Not everything is for your carrier. The US version of this phone will indeed have 850. Notice how on the information page it notes the phone has not yet been approved for a US carrier? It doesn't say T Mobile tentative. It doesn't say Cingular tentative either and possibly will not for sometime because Cingular is much stingier then T Mobil...

Well stated. The specs on this website are always subject to change, as Rich has said on numerous occassions.

NO, YOU STOP "hot md guy"! Listen you cell phone technology-challenged person! I said "if" it comes out for a carrier in the US, it will be for T-Mobile. And again I repeat. CINGULAR WILL NOT CARRY A PHONE THAT HAS THE 900 MHz BAND, ON IT UNLESS ITS A QUAD-BAND PHONE! THIS PHONE IS NOT A QUAD-BAND PHONE, SO AGAIN, ITS NOT FOR CINGULAR! R U PEOPLE NUTS?! AND I DO KNOW MORE ABOUT CELL PHONE TECHNOLOGY THAN YOU!

SO WHAT T-MOBILE, IS THE SMALLEST US CARRIER, AND HAS THE LEAST AMOUNT OF PHONES, AND YOUR POINT IS?!

ONE LAST TIME, THE SAMSUNG REP IS WRONG ABOUT THIS COMING TO CINGULAR!

CINGULAR = CRAP!

Believe me, I have a life. I yelled cause they tried to make me look stupid, like I don't know what I am talkin about, when it comes to phone bands, and the carriers that use them.

who cares.. I was pretty entertained in this posting... you are fighting over a phone and some carrier stuff... I like sprint the best... oh no start yelling at me... Everyone likes there carrier for a reason, and stupid enough but you could be talking to a 13 year old that is with a bunch more laughing about how pissed he got you... Why can't you guys all just wait to see what it says... It's a shame at times they put phones out before they know who it's for or suppose to be for. Cause you then get stupid carrier fights... Oh well... I'm done just needed to say... Goodbye.

Terry, you didn't even bother to really read hot_md_guy's posts. In them he states that this particular handset is still subject to testing and its specs may change. It might never arrive at all! The 900mhz capability may change to 850mhz. We simply don't know when, where or how this handset will play out. Settle down.
