From my experience with this handset I'd say the RF is incredibly strong! It holds signals down to 1 bar with not problem. Probably the best reception phone I've ever had.
Blows away any moto I've had or used (at least from my experience).
BTW - the battery time on this thing is killer!!! I charge the thing roughly once / week! If I'm using a lot It's every 4 - 5 days! And I keep it turned on always!
It's a great little phone and certainly won't break your bank acct.
