Echo Sounds
Has anyone encountered problems with "echoing" noise when making a call?
Example - I will make a call and will say, "Hi Steve, how are you?"
At the same time, I will hear the same sentence echo back in my voice : "Hi Steve, how are you?"
Is a defect in the phone or network problems or positioning?

Yes I have been having the same problems, now when I called they said they were doing some changes and that could be it, but when I took the phone in the lady told me that they were having probs. and they were working on them, they said it was mainly coming if someone called from a landline phone to your phone, but I think it has happened both ways with mine. have you had many dropped calls? if you find something out let me know incase I need to get my phone checked again. Are you guys saying that the echo is problem for the 6101 or just a general provider network problem?
I've heard it on my 6101 a few times - but not very often at all and with no consistency. It went away as soon as I changed my location slightly and/or hung up and re-dialed.

I've had it happen to me, and I'm on Cincinnati Bell's network. Granted, CinBell uses Cingular towers so it might still be just the network in general.
Kind of a nuisance if you ask me.
