Has anyone gotten it? If so how is it as far as call quality? Strong signal? How much without a contract?

How about the loudness of the handset when talking to someone. On my samsung e317 even at high volume it is still very low, ive read one person have that problem with the 6102. Anyone have any reviews?

Yes...I've gotten it yesterday! The siganal is great (usual for a nokia), call quality is great, and I personally feel that the handset is loud, both the earpiece and the speakerphone. I paid 139.99 for a one year contract so I'm sure at worst case it can't be over 200.00 for full retail. 😁

How does the phone respond when you push buttons? Motorolas and Sony Ericssons have a little lag when you push a button. Nokias are usually pretty good...just making sure the 6101/2 is no exception.

No lag time or at least better than moto and sony! This phone is every bit as advertised! Like I said before, I want to use it and play around with it before I post a review. 😁

Thanks Maximus. Man, I currently have the z500. It's a good phone, but there are certain things I don't like about it (I'm pretty picky-guess no cell is gonna be perfect).

Anyways, I'm trying to decide if I should get the 6102 when it comes out in my area or just not be so picky and keep going with my z500. The 6102 doesn't add any features--its features are very similar to the z500. I don't know then if the 6102's "conveniences" are gonna be worth $180 or however much it's gonna cost.

I think if the 6102 had good-sounding mp3 ringtones I would definitely get it. I've just heard that the they don't sound very good, and my z500s ringtones DO (and I'm always changing my ringtone).
