Yes! It is finally here! I just received an email from nokia, and Cingular has the 6102 available as of today! Finally!

Beware, though I checked with my store rep and she told me earleier in the evening that it will be introduced at the end of october!! So hopefully that won't be true. We'll have to wait and see.

I, like many of you, am eagerly awaiting Cingular's release of the 6102. Now, I've seen the posts, heard the rumors, came across the information on LetsTalk.com and NokiaUSA.com, and I got the email today. BUT... I went in to speak with my store rep tonight and she told me the same thing that Maximus was told: End of October. She also made the comment that they usually receive stuff later than other stores, so take that as you will. Basically, she told me not to count on having it real soon and pointed to the previous delays. Based on that info, I went ahead and bought an unlocked 6101. FYI... This is in Harrisburg, PA.
As a side note, did anyone notice the way the 6102 and 6101 differ in looks? Also, it seems that the antenna...

just called my local cingular stores, one store has 1 of them in stock, the other store said they have them ready to go for next week.

Where are you located? I went today, this guy said a month and a half, and that they haven't received any dummy phones

Glad to say I finally now own the nokia 6102 for cingular!! I called many stores in my area (northern suberbs of NYC) and only about three had received believe it or not one 6102 per store and they had already been sold. So I decided to randomly choose stores in NYC and founf one near ground zero on Wall Street. They held it for me and I had to drive through rush hour to buy it!! I got it at the one year pricing which was 139.99 I plan to use the phone and play around with it for several weeks before I post a review. đ
