Nokia 6101 / 6102
How do you use the Push to Talk feature???
I was really looking forward to using this feature but it isn't even mentioned in the book, and i can't find any button relating to Push to talk, but I'm sure on websites it says it has this feature. Can anyone help?

Where did u get the phone from? Because in Canada there is no mention of the PTT feature.

Here is what i came up with, apparently on nokia.com europe and north africa website it mentions the PTT feature and a demo on it. But on the North American website there is no mention of it. There is two buttons on the right side when facing u and the one on the top is the PTT feature and the botton one is the power button i guess. I wonder is Cingular wont have the PTT feature.

Oh and that ptt button is a the camera button on my phone... weird maybe you have to use it at the right time, oh well. Thanks again.

one of the rumors floating around this forum was that Cingular was going to have PTT in Sept hence the delay in releasing the 6102... just a rumor though...

i think that has anything to do with it, b/c cingular already has phones with PTT. like the Z500 for example.

yeah but the ptt of the z500 dont work becasue cingular never used the software to have it active...hopefully since cingular is getting PTT now the button can be activated but im not sure...i hope so since i have the z500 but im not to worried since i planned on buying the 6102 at retail anyway

what the heXX is the push to talk feature!? is that the obnoxious nextel walkie-talkie crap!? why the heXX does anyone want that feature!??? just to annoy everyone around you!!?? look, things are bad enough with people walking around as if they are talking to themselves, because of earpieces, but now there's PTT!?? gimme a break!? walkie talkies are for kids in their back yards playing tag!! toss all the nextels and just say no to ptt!!
