oh no, not at all. they've been making flips for 2-3 years now overseas.

i don't understand, does anyone know why they come out with things everywhere else in the world before it reaches here?

I think because there is so much control by motorola in the US market and because GSM is used more outside the US. Big companies like Verizon and Sprint use CDMA, and Cingular is the only BIG carrier that uses GSM. T-mobile also uses GSM but they don't compare to Cingular. Also, Nokia is not a US company, so they have the freedom to choose not to release inside the US. Also finding the carrier for the phone is a struggle.
