Motorola V360 / V361

I just bought an unbranded V360, and am wondering if anyone else is having the same problems I am.

First, it appears that the phone doesn't understand Message Waiting Indicator updates. Instead of having the MWI appear and disappear when I receive and check voicemail, I get empty text messages from "_@" and "@", respectively. So obnoxious!

Also, though the manual says that the phone can auto-update its date & time, the menu option to enable it is missing.

Finally, sometimes when I press send to make a call, the phone will say "Calling...", but never connect the call. Generally, a reboot fixes it; not sure whether this is the phone or the network.

Anyone know about these problems? Anyone had a better experience with an unbranded V360? It's be a sweet phone, were it not for this foolishness!
