How does it feel?

T-Mobile still doesn't have Pebls in the stores (at least the ones close to me). I am really curious about the feel of the phone and the durability. Is the surface easily scratchable? Will a case be needed to protect the surface? This may be my dream phone if I can go without a case and still have the no-slip soft feel of a case. I'll carry the phone in a purse so it will have some protection.

If you have ever felt the kind of blue rubbery surface on a V300, thats what pretty much what covers the entire PEBL. The one I held, for T-Mobile, had a black rubbery surface. This phone has the best grip by far out of any phone I've ever seen. Its not scratchable at all in the sense that plastic would be. You won't need a case with this phone. I think you'd be very very pleased once you actually hold one.

Still waiting to hold one - my T-Mobile expects to have one next week.

How about the voice recognition dialing? Great?
