😳 Um well, i had to pick from the samsung t809 or the peble, Personaly I in looks the T809 takes it to a diffrent level. I dont like the look of the PEBL--but i didnt want to go on looks so i did my homework and i ended up buying the t809 and I have to say this phone is the best phone I have ever had, never been so satisfied! So sorry PEBL I just dont think you are worth 300 dollars! I just came of the moto v330 and i loved that phone, but this one well, its a keeper, i will give my v330 to someone special.
To those who get the Pebl hope you are as satisfied as i am!

I am currently in the same boat of deciding which phone I want. However, I don’t know if I could live with a phone that has buzzing, gets dust easily under the screen, have to jump through hoops to load personal mp3’s as ring tones, and gets hot after prolonged use like old TDMA phones. This phone looks very hot though is that enough? Basically the T809 sounds a little disappointing.

Now for the PEBL. Not too many people are buying this one yet, so the bugs haven’t been found, but it seems way over-priced. So this one sounds like a disappointment too. I don’t know if there will ever be a perfect phone, so you decide which faults you can live with for your set price.

Well i have had the t809 for over a week and had none of those problems. NO buzzying at all, doing the mp3 thing is easy and quick now that i got the flow, and the dust? when peps started talking about the dust i kept checking my phone to see what they where talking about-- but then i read carefully, it was to tnose who kept there phone in the pockets so i guess thats why i havent had a problem with it-- i keep mine in a pouch. And honestly its a great phone.
I never thought i would be so much into a cell phone, cz truthfully i hate gadgets but this is great! Sorry you dont like it.

Yeah im definitly the person who will take back the phone if i find anything i dont like-- im not about the looks i had the v330 before this one and before that one I had the v180. The v330 worked fine but it was really fat, lol. But it worked fine! Had to take it back once to get a new one, but after that I loved it.
I was going to take the t809 back because when it rings it starts low then it gets high, but my husband said i need to stop being to picky! But after i started getting into the rest of the phone he was right everything else worked perfectly, and the sound quality was great--ended up loving it all the way. I actually like how it rings now-- and now that i know how to do my own mp3 well im on it! I never used a phone other...

OK, I get where you are coming from and I am glad to hear you haven't had any of the problems that everyone else has had. I went to the store to play around with it and the thing is I really liked it. It’s just that after hearing about these problems, I started getting disappointed because it’s such a cool phone. So maybe I wouldn’t have the dust problem either because I don’t carry the phones in my pocket typically. Now the mp3 thing, I haven’t been able to try yet, but hopefully it’s easy. Maybe I will give this phone a try. Plus if the call quality is good, that’s a big plus because after all it needs to be a phone first. Did you get a screen protector for yours?

Thats funny you would mention about the screen protector. I just got it yesterday. 16$! Wow that stuff was expensive, not to mention frusturating. it came with 12 sheet, and after messsing up 6 sheets i finally got it! The major problem is how to try to put it on without getting any bubbles. But i finally got it on there. . . . Wow, it tries your patience literally! But like my hubby said better to pay 16 dollars to protect it vs 100 to get it fixed. lol
