My neighbor/friend who is the manager of the local T-Mobile store says that the PEBL will be released on to T-Mobile, so watch out for this phone from them. 🙂

Maybe, maybe not. We will have to wait and see. Last time I checked, T-Mo got the 6101 before Cingular got the 6102. I will say that, normally Cingular gets phones first, but not always.

That is true that Cingular gets alot of phones before T-Mobile. The main reason however is because Cingular is more concerned about getting the hottest phone on the market first but, doesn't test them to the extent T-Mobile does. Remember the V600 on Cingular? Also don't forget that the T-Mobile RAZR has the updated software Video and Bluetooth 1.2 anyone? Cingular might get phones first but, 5 JD Powers awards to Cingular's 0 speaks for it's self

You might think about switching? A majority of the "hot" phones will always be exclusive to Cingular first. With such a large customer base there is more sales and profit to be made. Face it Motorola would rather have an exclusive agreement to 52+ million customers than it would 18+ million customers, it is a numbers game to them. Nokia sells so many phones world wide they don't care who gets what phone first, they sell more handsets than any other company and most of the sales of Nokia are outside the U.S.

It is a numbers game but the other reason Motorola releases more phones with Cingular is because Cingular doesn't have as tough of a testing program of new handsets as T-Mobile does. Who would you rather work with, a company that lets you put your phones on the market with minimal Qulity Control or a company that makes you revise the software two or three times before they will release your product?

That's false. TMobile gets the updated software because the phones have already been on the market for a while and have the update. Not because TMo told Motorola to give its phone specific software. All of the updates on the TMobile phones are on the newer released Cingular versions or they direct you to a site where you can download it. Plus, Motorola has quality issues with all carriers not just Cingular but Verizon, Nextel, and yes T Mobile. Samsung and Sony Ericsson has a better product right now than Motorola as far as quality is concerned. And one more point, as far as your customer service awards go, it is not hard to please people under the age of 21. That is what your carrier is, for children.

That is partly true. Yes the phones are on the market longer but, only Verizon has higher standards than T-Mobile when I comes to the engineering department. Secondly, hoiw in the world in the 21st century can your customer service close???!! Hello Cingular, closed on Sunday?? No wonder Cingular was rated only 2 points above Sprint in Customer service. By the way that is 14 points the industry standard??

The PEBL is going to be a T-Mobile phone.

Cingular is getting the RAZR2. Both my Cingular Rep and T-Mobile Rep told me this.

Who cares who gets what first? As long as my phone is working where im at im cool! Ive been with tmobile for 4 years and my husband and I have no complaints and if we do believe tmo will help you with the quickness.

I have 4 friends and family with cingular and one aleardy changed to Tmobile because of constent mistakes on her bill, another cant stand the costumer service and is ready for her contract to be over, my best friend says his signal is poor over where his at (which it can happen to any carrier), and the last she just has it because of the role over minutes!
