Moto Pebl question - missed call notification

i have owned other Motorola phones in the past and, with previous models, my phone would beep every 5-7 min after i missed a call until i checked it. My Pebl does not do that. have other pebl owners noticed this or is my phone defective?

Mine beeps once or twice after I miss a call, but that is all.

If you have an unbranded and unlocked phone, I believe there is a setting in there someplace.
