Nokia 6682 / 6681

i haven seen any pics form the samsung but the 6682 takes some nice pics it has a good music player on it but if u don't like it u can get a new 1 u cant do that with the d807 the 6682 is a smart phone u can change almost anything about the software

If your wanting a gud camera and music player get the Sony w810. It beats both phones in both categories.

Samsung tends to give me a headache. I still have my samsung flip from sprint that I couldn't deal with so I just baught this phone with cingular instead. Personally I've had sliders.. and flips.. swivel.. whatever I like the bar style the best. Nokia is known for it's reception and call clarity which with my samsung was a problem. The 6682 is actually a bit thinner and the same size as my flip phone.. well, if you count the external antenna which didn't even help. And symbian rocks because you can put anything on there. I really would go with this phone because expandable memory is really high. I really like the camera on this one compared with my samsung. My samsung just sucked.

But the w810 is awesome if you're actually willing to wait...

After hearing this, I think i will consider this but I was just looking at the new LG cu500 and that looks pretty awesome. As for the w810 I really like the design, but I don't want to wait another year for it to come out, nor do I want to have to take out a loan to buy it lol.

You can buy and unlocked w810 for around $330 and that includes 2 day shipping. And you wouldn't be under contract. What is the 6682 going for on a 2 year contract right now? As much as I love my 6682, I love my w810 more.

well for me 330 is a little much for a phone. ( I shouldn't say that, I spent 400 on my SE 710)butt The 6682 isn't that much anymore, but i ended up going with the LG CU500, I hope it wasn't a mistake. I got it for the 3g. The cingular rep. I talked to said that with in the next two years everyone will have to switch to the 3g phones. I don't know how true this is but i though while i have some money now, i might as well upgrade to the 3g now. And if i don't like it, I will return it for the 6682. The LG looks like a really stylish phone while the 6682 just looks like a phone.

I've got noo experience with the LG but i wish you luck. Me personally I've always valued performance over looks.

The best deal I have found is $250 plus a 2 year contract from Cingular and Nokia's web site. I keep holding off because that doesn't seem like much of a deal to me. Anybody seen a better deal? I will have to buy online because I can't find one locally in NE Mississippi.

Cingular took the phone off the shelf!!! That sucks!

They had a display model but no phones or nothing of equal quality. All they had was cheep phones. The best phone they carry is the razer. This was at one of the main stores in Tupelo, MS. They are the ones that told me no one else would have it. They are probably lying though. They have been clueless the last few times I have been in there with problems.

I got mine from cellularchoices.net for $70 and then they have two rebates to equal that amount.

Oh yeah. I only chose cellularchoices.net because they were the only ones that shipped to me. Wirefly and Lets Talk have it cheaper.

Is that with a new contract? I forgot to mention that I want to either update an existing phone or add a line to my existing account. I have two phones on my family plan that are still under contract.

on ebay actually if you just search 6682 and go to 'phone with a new plan' you can get it for free with a new line. No rebates at all. 99 cents.

Thank you! I went through celluarchoices and got the phone for free (no rebates). I never knew you could upgrade on-line. I also am kinda concerned about celluarchoices but so far they have been on the ball. Just a few questions: where did you get extra memory, do you like the phone, what extras will I need to purchase. Oh yay!!! I'm /so/ glad! lucky you. Uhm, I got a 2 gigabyte card to go with it.

But yeah cellular choices is great. The phone didn't reach in time (I live in the U.S virgin islands.. postal times are always extremely lengthy) So we had them send it again. But we had gotten the first order the day we asked them for the second and stuff but no they were really awesome. I doubt you'll have any problems.

I also got a leather case.. one that doesn't stay on the whole time.. just a holder thing.

I also am planning on getting bluetooth headphones because earbuds don't fit in my ear. But the earbuds that it comes with are awesome. It also comes with a 64mb card already. I just like to use my cellphone as an mp3 player too.

Actually you don't really need to purchase anything. Everything comes in the box in a nice plastic tuperware like thing. I just like have the extra stuff. 😁 I mean you get the memory, connection cable, the headphones that you can actually use like to talk to people. EVERYTHING is in that box.
