i want to put some of the apps on the card that came with the phone on to the phones memory. i.e. opera, wayfinder, etc. there is no possible way to just transfer them from the card to phone. so im wonderind (im at work right now)

can i use my memory card reader to save them to my pc. then bluetooth them to my phone and save it to the phones memory?

if any, how many of you have stored some of the apps to the phones memory and how was it done?

also how do i update the opera browser?

Alas, there is no way to back them up, it would be best to just save that memory card with the programs, then use another one for anything else you might need. It's kinda lame that way - I had deleted some programs, but figured I could get them back using the CD that came with the phone. . . nope.

Opera mini can be had by simply going to Opera.com - follow the steps & you can get the program via MMS to your phone.

Probably not 😢 - I've tried many times many ways to get the programs from the card to the phone, but to no avail. Of course, I'm by no means a Symbian expert, and there could easily be a step I'm over looking.

Anyone else know for sure that is/is not possible?

Why would you want to move applications to the phone memory? Leaving them on the memory card keeps more phone memory open for running applications.

because i only want one or two of them. the opera and wayfinder.

i cant listen to music while browsing opera if they both are used by a card. and opera is on another card.

Hehe, good luck playing music while using opera, its such a ram hog that you probably won't be able to anyway.
