Weird - I can only guess that there are certain blocks of IMEIs that cannot be unlocked. You may be unable to do it through Cingular. Maybe try here:

is the only thing I can think of.

One of these days, I'll work up the guts to try to unlock my 6682 that way. . . Embarassed
