All you have to do is hit the left key and then star? The only problem I have noticed is that sliding the camera open unlocks the keys?

ok, quick question, when would you want to slide open the phone and not have the keys unlock? I have heard others complain about the "loose" door, but mines seems to be a snug as a bug in a rug!

So when the phone is in your pocket and the keys are locked, if you accidentally slide open the camera, you could accindentally start taking photos of you pocket or make a call or whatever.

hmmm... good point... I think mine has come open like 1 time as I was putting into my pocket so I closed it then. but I have never had a problem after it was in the pocket. Mind I never put anything else in the same pocket for fear of scratching the screen so that may be something else that I am avoiding.

Note, it relocks the keys once you close the lens cover. My original lens cover opened all the time, but the aftermarket (rubberized) case I got has a firmer-opening lens cover that doesn't open accidentally.

The rubberized one they have here has a different front than mine (new style, he says), but the back is the same.

Guys, guys, you can set the phone to auto keyguard. What you do is set a predetermined time and the phone will lock up after a certain amount of time. There will be a big key on the screen letting you know that the key guard is active. To unlock it, you have to put in your password that you set when you activated the feature. Here's how you do it.
Settings>security>phone and sim>autolock period>user defined.
This will ask you "lock after (minutes)". Just put in the minutes you want the phone to lock up. Then it's going to ask you for your lock code. That's something you setup undere "autolock period". It's usually 5 digits.
Hope this helps.

Well, you can do something of the like without downloading anything by going in the menu --> tools --> settings --> Security --> phone and sim --> auto lock period. You can set it by any amount of time in minutes.

Once you decide on a time, you will have to provide a password to unlock the phone, but hey, beggers can't be choosers. That is, unless you DL a program ;)
