Im' sick of Verizon's crappy phone selection so I'm thinking of taking the jump.
I'm in the NJ/NYC area and was wondering if nayone has had a successful changed of service.

I'm very interested in this Nokia phone.
I want DUN from my Apple and the ability to transfer files to-from my Mac desktop via bluetooth as well (two of the features that Verizon disabled!!!)

Also, how is the speakerphone on the 6682?

Thanks for the info

I switched from Verizon to AT+T Wireless 3 years ago and never looked back. Not only did Verizon have crappier phones, their customer service is appauling. I got the 6682 with a new Cingular contract (go through Letstalk.com, much cheaper) and although Cingular isn't the best it's probably the lesser of two evils. Granted, Verizon has better downloads - ringtones, music etc. The rollover minutes are a deal breaker for me - Verizon, T Mobile, sprint/Nextel - they can't compete with that - although I think one of them offers free incoming calls now which is huge. Cingular used to have that annoying beep at the end of each ring about 4 years ago and then it went away. I have caught many fibbers with that beep. They say, I had my phone on silent and didn't know you called. And I say, YOU'RE BUSTED!!

I did, just a few months ago, through letstalk.com. I ported over 2 verizon phone numbers and added a 3rd on a family plan. With Letstalk.com, I was able to get 3 different phones and all the phones had rebates. Other online stores require you to get identical phones if you want all the rebates on a family plan.
