Got it today. Not as intuitive thought it would be, but I'm not completely familiar with Symbian. I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SET MP3's AS RINGTONES. The 6620 wasn't able to, but my 6230 was... 😕 ANYONE??? Thanks in advance.

That depends if you want to set a ring tone for an individual contact or for a group.

Indiv: scroll to the contact, press nav key in to open contact, press options and scroll to ringer tone.

Group: highlight group(do not open), press options and scroll to ring tone.

Okay.....I'm trying to Bluetooth all my mp3's from my s710. It receives the files in my Text inbox, let's me play them, but I can't tranfer them anywhere or pply to any ind./group ringtone. I don't even see that option under the contacts list. I read one of the previous posts regarding this, and you said they get stored in "tracks" in your Gallery. This is not the case with my phone, I actually have to go to my text inbox just to listen to them. WTF!!!! 👿

You have to store them in phone mem-not memory card to use them as ringtones-Any idea how to cut the length of mp3s?

Files have to be in the "Sounds" folder on the memory card to be used as ringtones. When I send MP3's to my phone with bluetooth, then end up in the "MyMusic" folder. I have to move them over to the "Sounds" folder with FExplorer.

Good job my friend. I would have explained that too, but every since I asked for help one day, and everyone decided they didn't want to help me, I offer no more help on this forum. Only you helped me out that day.

I have tracks saved on my mem card and use them as ringers. They are not downloaded, they are mp3 ringers I've made myself.

I have a couple of free programs that allow me to resize my music.

I use MusicMatch to convert files from mp3 to wav and the Sound Recorder, built in Windows, to manipulate the length.
