MMS-compatible files?

What kind of audio files can be attached to a MMS message? I've tried to send MP3 and midi files and they don't work. My wife sent me a midi from her v551, which worked, but I can't even send that file to anyone. The only audio files that work are the ones the voice recorder makes.

Any file that isn't a midi or over 100kb in file size.

A 46k mp3 wouldn't work, though.
