Nokia 6682 / 6681
July 20th
Can anybody here confirm this information. I keep calling Cingluar's Customer Service and asking and NOBODY has an answer.
Sometimes I get the "I have no idea", other times I get "Maybe sometime in mid July, but I can't say for shure".
Hence, I can't say that I trust the July 20th prediction....but I REALLY hope it's true.

I seriously doubt that tomorrow will be the day 😡 . If you call up Cingular, they still have the 6682 with no info. They inform me that some other nokia has a "better status" of "coming soon".

I talked to the people at Cingular and the next Nokia that will be hitting the shelves in the stores will be the Nokia flip phone. I am very anxious to see the 6682 because I will either be getting that or the SMT 5600 when I switch to Cingular in September.

As a rule I only believe release dates that are dated for sometime in mid to late Juvember. 🙄 🙄 🙄 as it always seems to be pushed back further and further.........

It's not on cingular.com right now. I really think it could be a while until this phone is available in the cingular stores or there online store...

The phone is now on sale at nokiausa.com for $599.99. I know a few people who work for cingular and they say their new pricing sheet comes out tommorrow. Hopefully, we'll know more then.

There is no way that this phone will be $109 with a 2-year contract. The 6620 is still nearly $200 with a 2-year, and this phone has so much more to offer. Also, there is no nokia phone available that you can buy no commitment from Cingular for $209. The arrival of this phone will likely take on the $299 or $249 price with a 2-year, which is what the 6620 was. But really, why even discuss the price. Cingular will probably take another year to get the phone to the stores lol!
