Connecting to the Internet via the Bluetooth Modem

Has anyone been able to do this on this phone.

I have had a SE T616 and a Z520a and all I had to do on my PDA was pair the device with the phone, then create a connection with *99# as the number and connect. With this SLVR, it seems like it wants to do it... If I set the access on the phone to Manual, it asks if I want to use the phone as a Gateway when I try it... but it then disconnects. I even tried to use the phone as a dail-up... and the PDA gets it to dial, but then immediately disconnects. What am I missing???

Hopefully someone figured it out here.
I would be really interested to know how
to use this phone as a modem too.

Thanks,

Is it that no one has been able to do this, or it can't be done?? I just downloaded Opera-Mini and it seems to work fine, so all the pieces of the puzzle are there.

I usually have the internet access number on the phone and on the pda have it dial that number and connect to the internet. This is thru regular dialing. If you have GPRS data then you have to ask your carrier how to set the phone for data packets.

Regular access number connection is very slow, slower than 14.4
