Can u install iTunes on unbranded SLVR?

I know that they come with a Motoplayer but can u install iTunes somehow on an unbranded version?

I also have an unbranded SLVR and would like to put itunes on it as well.
Can anyone help? Is there a site for modding the SLVR?

My understanding is that if you try and do that the phone will no longer work - some kind of protection built in to prevent folks from loading itunes after they get the phone...
