i compared the phones weight to other phones and it seems to be about the same weight, but now i have heard people compare this phone to the i pod nano so how thin is the phone? in the INFO sec. for the phone i cant really tell in the pics.

Another thing, how is this phone compared to the w600, which i just got, i want to exchange it for the w600 but i don't want to down grade.

Price,...w/ the 2yr contract will it be about 200.00??

One more thing, is this phone like a flattened rockr e1 and v551 because I'm a little sick of every motorola having the same menus and stuff.

well thanks and any answers Will Be greatly imprecated!

Well, just came back from Cingular to see the phone for myself. It is very attractive and THIN! The design is definitely its main selling point.

As far as features go, it's basically a thin ROKR. I wanted to really see Moto add something different. Other than the hot-swappable mem card feature, the phone is simply a ROKR in another housing. To add insult to injury, Moto decided to keep the camera VGA? And w/o the flash? No edge?

I was ready to swap the ROKR for the SLVR, but IMO it isn't worth the downgrade. Sure the ROKR is not as thin, but it has a camera flash and external stereo speakers that kick butt.

I thought you were ready to jump ship! You know the speakers are the **** on the Rokr E1. Long live the rokr E1! The orginal and only white phone on the market. If you want a kick ass slvr L7 just get the black casing for the Rokr E1 and you'll have a Slvr l7 with speakers and a camera flash! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 Honestly, I rarely even use the headphones, the speakers are kick ass! Trade your W600 for the Rokr! You will not be disappointed. Plus you have rhythm lights too!

The SLVR will be about as thin as the keyboard section of the RAZR.

I'm a big fan of the ROKR myself, though if I were you I'd wait for the e2 to come out before I traded in my SE POS. The features will be comparable to those of the SLVR, and, in my opinion, it's a big step up from your Sony in speaker quality, reliability, and connectivity.

well its not 11.5 as the spec said, i measured with a vernier and it showed anything big than 12.0, this is when i measured across the display, i didnt do accross keys bcos they will add some extra mms.

then L7 has external speakers, not rocing but but surely not bad
