Because Cingular absolutely sucks for service quality.

No, there is no way this phone comes out for Verizon anytime soon. It will be a cingular release, most likely in Feb.
But yes, im in the same boat - i like verizon's quality, but cingular's phones.
IMHO, this phone is too much to pass up though. Their network is improving, so Im gonna take the plunge (at least for the 30 day trial...)
